right to vote amendment

SECTION1.  The right of citizens of the United States to vote effectively shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on the account of race, color, creed, religion, ethnic or national ancestry, income, physical disability, sex, sexual orientation, status with regards to public assistance, veterans' status or previous condition of servitude or incarceration.


SECTION2. The Congress shall have the power to enforce this article with appropriate legislation.
